Lavender Lemonade In a quart pyrex measuring bowl, place 8 cups of water and 7 heaping tablespoons of lavender flowers. Depending on your microwave, boil 12 to 24 minutes in microwave, let set for 2-3 hours. In 1 gallon container, put 2 capfuls of Country Time Lemonade, or to your taste. Strain Lavender water into container and mix well. Add enough water to fill to the top of container. ENJOY!! |

Lavender Sugar Cookies 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened 1 cup sugar 2 eggs 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 2 tsp. lavender flowers, ground 1 1/2 cups sifter flour 2 tsp. baking poweder Grind lavender in blender and store in a covered jar with the recipe so it's all ready to use and keeps well. Preheat oven to 375. Cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, vanilla and lavender flowers. Sift flour and baking powder together and add to butter mixture. Drop teaspoonfulls of batter on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 minutes, just until edges brown. Cool and enjoy! |
